Happy Anniversary!

We're celebrating our third wedding anniversary today. I'm lucky to be sharing my life with someone like Ray. I never thought that I would be married, much less to someone who can patiently put up with me and my quirks. To celebrate we're having dinner tonight at Delfina, just down the street.
I'm trying to not let the election news get me down too much today. Ugh. Yes, it's scary that we're having four more years with the current administration, but it's even scarier to think that eleven states went out of their way to outlaw same-sex marriage.
It's also sad that with organizations like Vote or Die and Choose or Lose that more young people didn't get off their lazy asses and vote. My 75-year-old father and intrepid election worker reported that he didn't see very many young voters at his polling place in the East Bay. Not surprising. Like Tracy said this morning on our ride to work, if you didn't vote--you can't complain about what's going on in our country.
