San Francisco Balboa Festival

This semester I'm taking a photojournalism class at SFSU as part of my graduate studies. For my final photo story, I shot four days of the San Francisco Balboa Festival. Burnie Gipson organized and promoted the swing dance event which featured 3 nights of dancing and contests, as well as 2 days of dance workshops. The high caliber of dancing was amazing, and I was surprised by how friendly people were while I shot their photos--no one seemed to mind that I was around and no one gave me any attitude, yay! The following are just a small portion of the photos that I shot, and later this week I'll upload more photos of the event.
