Vox
I've always been a slacker about updating this blog, and now it's only going to get worse. :(
I've been blogging here at lilia.com since 1999. Before that, this was another personal website which started out in 1997.
The company that I work for, Six Apart, has a new, free personal blogging service called Vox. It's all about sharing and staying connected to the people that you care about. And frankly, since I've been blogging over on Vox, I noticed that I receive many more comments on my Vox blog than I ever did here on lilia.com. That's probably because when you use Vox, it's easy to connect with people so there's more of a community vibe going on over there. For me, Vox is a place where I can be more casual about my blogging.
I'm not abandoning lilia.com, I'm just working on transforming it into something else, probably something that's more of a professional reflection of myself. Of course with the release of Movable Type 3.3, I'll continue to use Movable Type here because it is the best blogging software that gives me ultimate control and power for my blog.
Anyway, I'm not saying goodbye to lilia.com, but just saying hello to lilia.vox.com.
If you're interested in checking out Vox for yourself, please let leave a comment and I'll send you an invitation!
