http://www.lilia.com/archives/2007/04/announcing_lili.html
A few weeks ago I mentioned that I had some life changes to reveal. I'm happy to announce that my husband Ray and I have started a new part-time wedding and lifestyle photography business, Lilia Photography. Our goal is to tell wedding stories with amazing photographs that capture emotional and unforgettable moments in a fresh and compelling way. We're available for weddings anywhere, as well as portrait work for couples, individuals, and families. In addition to our new website, check out our new slideshows: (Turn your speakers up!) Gladys & Kris' Wedding Portraits Nicole & Peter's Engagement Ray and I wanted to thank Nicole & Peter, and Gladys & Kris for being such good sports and being our first victims models! We're shooting Nicole and Peter's wedding in a few weeks, so we'll share those photos as soon as possible....Lilia2007-04-11T08:08:56-08:00Where's Lilia?

I'm no longer updating this blog, but you can still find me on Vox and Flickr....Lilia2006-11-17T06:52:46-08:00Vox
http://www.lilia.com/archives/2006/07/vox.html
I've always been a slacker about updating this blog, and now it's only going to get worse. :( I've been blogging here at lilia.com since 1999. Before that, this was another personal website which started out in 1997. The company that I work for, Six Apart, has a new, free personal blogging service called Vox. It's all about sharing and staying connected to the people that you care about. And frankly, since I've been blogging over on Vox, I noticed that I receive many more comments on my Vox blog than I ever did here on lilia.com. That's probably because when you use Vox, it's easy to connect with people so there's more of a community vibe going on over there. For me, Vox is a place where I can be more casual about my blogging. I'm not abandoning lilia.com, I'm just working on transforming it into something else, probably something that's more of a professional reflection of myself. Of course with the release of Movable Type 3.3, I'll continue to use Movable Type here because it is the best blogging software that gives me ultimate control and power for my blog. Anyway, I'm not saying goodbye to lilia.com, but...Lilia2006-07-13T08:02:01-08:00SF Pride Parade 2006

http://www.lilia.com/archives/2006/02/amazon_you_dont.html
Why do I get so much crap inside my Amazon Gold Box? I always open the Gold Box hoping for a fabulous bargain, but I'm always completely disappointed with their offers. Where do they get the idea that I'm interested in a golf club bag stand or a leather executive massage chair? Could you see me out on a golf course? Here's another issue. Many times I'm presented with options based on my purchases for friends and family. Amazon needs a better system to filter out my gift purchases so that I'm only presented with suggestions based on purchases that I made for myself. I don't need to see Bill O'Reilly or Ann Coulter in my Gold Box just because I bought a conservative book for my 77 year old Republican father for Christmas back in 2000. I want a "gift" tag now!...TechnologyLilia2006-02-24T22:22:59-08:00A Look Inside the iPod Nano
